A capacitive LCD display is a display module that integrates capacitive LCD display technology with liquid crystal display technology. The capacitive LCD display uses a four-layer composite glass screen, with layers of ITO (indium tin oxide) conductive coating on its inner surface and interlayer. This structure enables the screen to sense changes in the human body's electric field, thereby achieving touch control. Capacitive touch screens leverage the conductive properties of the human body to read finger touches through changes in capacitance. It supports multi-touch and various gestures such as pinching, zooming, swiping, and scrolling, enhancing the user experience significantly.
Compared to LCD touch panels, capacitive touch panels (CTP screens) considerably improve the refresh rate and optical clarity, with an optical transmittance that can exceed 90%. Since they do not rely on pressure-based sensing, they can use a glass surface, which is more durable. Exson Tech offers standard projective capacitive LCD displays ranging from 0.96 to 43 inches and provides a wide range of choices for customer service. Product structures include G+G, GFF, GF, PG, and other options, with IC choices covering industrial control, medical equipment, and consumer uses. Optical treatments like AG, AF, and AR can also be applied for different applications, with all work fully customizable according to customer needs and requirements.
Supports multiple gestures with multi-touch, making it more convenient to use
Better image quality
Excellent sensitivity
Scratch-resistant
There are two bonding methods, frame adhesive bonding and optical adhesive bonding
Frame adhesive bonding uses double-sided tape to adhere the touch screen to the LCD frame
Optical adhesive bonding is a full bonding method with better light transmittance and image quality, using OCA adhesive
Smartphones and tablets
